Unusual Vintage Mosaic Earrings - Signed. These screwback earrings from the 1930s or 40s are of a very unusual design--they are shaped like little sea shells. They measure 1" across at their widest. The mosaic tesserae (the single mosaic pieces) are very small, indicating the age of the jewelry. The flower tesserae are cut from glass canes shaped as flowers. The coloration is great--bright red, olive green, yellow, pink, white and black. The base of the earrings is signed "FAP" in an art deco monogram and also "made in Italy". Very good condition.
