Early Insect/ Fly Brooch with Rhinestones. Glistening golden wings and colored stones are the main attraction on this 1940s insect brooch. She measures 1 7/8" long. A peridot-colored rhinestones for her head and honey-colored stone for her abdomen. All very fresh, but what looks to be a manufacturing flaw to one wing. LH182-06 - $42
Large Vintage Butterfly Brooch with Colored Stones. This vintage 1940s gold-plated butterfly brooch measures 3" across. It is prong set with colored rhinestones. Light surface wear to finish. This looks wonderful against dark fabric. DH225-07 - $35
Vintage Enamel Firebird Brooch. This late 1960s brooch measures about 2 5/8" long. This sleek bird is decked out in orange and pink-red bright metallic paint. The piece glimmers beautifully in the light and catches the shifting colors. Black faceted rhinestone eye and florentine goldtone finish for reverse. Pottery Forget-Me-Nots Picture Hat Brooch. This vintage handmade pottery brooch measures approximately 2 1/2" across. The picture hat is a creamy color with forget-me-nots and a pink rose around the band. The brim is trimmed with a handpainted gold scalloped decoration, and the forget-me-nots are embellished all around with gold. Very good condition. DH266-07 - $30
Outstanding Serpent/ Snake Vintage Torque. This piece of jewelry is hard to give up. It's a perfect representation of a complete snake--from its head to it's sinuously wavy tail. The with a crosshatch pattern and the scales on the body are indicated. The inner side of the torque towards the neck is smooth for easy wearability. The torque opens by sliding the snake's head out of the looped tail. (The torque fits me and my neck is large.) Very good condition. DH299-08
1940s Sterling Cowboy Hats Screwback Earrings. Trail-broken hats are the best and most comfortable. Some things just get better with age. We found a pair of old sterling western cowboy hats to complement your attire! They are screwbacks and measures 7/8" long. Very 3D and complete with a braided brim and dented crown tip. Antique Glass Enameled Mandolin Brooch. This 1 3/4" long brooch is a careful representation of a mandolin. The four strings are carefully represented--travelling from the pegs, down the frets, over a bridge, and to the frog. The soundboard is decorated in white and green glass enamel, with handpainted red roses. Old style c-clasp for closure. The back shows a stamping of numbers which may date the brooch to 1895.
