1960s Giovanni Sculpted Rose Book Piece. Giovanni is a well-established Providence, Rhode Island manufacturer of fine and costume jewelry.
This fully 3-D brooch was fashioned in both silver and goldtone. This silvertone version measures 2 3/4" long and is constructed of many matte-textured parts. The insides of the petals are bright-finished. Great attention to detail. There are even thorns on the stem. Signed "Giovanni" on underside of leaf. Noted in R. L. Francois Aurora Borealis Vintage Earrings. During the 1940s and 50s Francois was a high-end division for the Coro company. These earrings are probably from the late 1950s.

Signed Gerry Turtle Brooch - Book Piece. This 1950s goldtone brooch, signed Gerry, measures 2 1/8" long. It centers a large oval glass cabochon which is made to resemble a rhodocrosite gemstone. Signed Leonore Doskow Sterling Sweater Guard. Leonore Doskow, is an internationally respected gold and silversmith. She ran Leonore Doskow, Inc. from 1935 until the 1980s. She is best known for her monogram work. She is now retired, and her sweater clips have not been produced for a long time. The sweater guard disks, engraved with P's, measure almost 7/8". Durango Silver Wolves Family Brooch. Durango Silver Company has been in business designing high quality sterling jewelry in Durango, Colorado since 1972. This 2 1/4" x 1 15/16" heavy sterling brooch weights 19.2 grams and has long been out of production. It is signed Hartmans Durango, within a heart pierced with an arrow, for the designers John and Dillon Hartman.
This wolves' brooch is a beautiful sand cast piece with great attention to detail. Jewelry has often been used to convey messages. Sometimes very subtley. Signed Emmons Poinsettia Goldtone and Pearl Clip Earrings. Richly Florentine-finished goldtone c1970 poinsettia earrings measure 1 1/8" across. The "petals"/leaves swirl in two layers around central costume 2mm pearls. The clip backs are signed "Emmons" with a copyright symbol. Just a little wear to one of the clip backs.
