Early Plastic Victorian Revival Hair Comb. In the 1930s, at the same time that the Art Deco style promoted industrial geometric forms, there was a revival of the Victorian style. This 5 3/4" long early plastic hair comb is a great example. Color is a dark root beer brown, with tortoiseshell-type mottling. There is a refined floral brass decoration at the top, which is probably from an original Victorian mold. These same molds have been used for decades. Free Shipping/Insurance in the USA! LH5706 - $45
