Vintage Wedgewood-Blue Featherlite Earrings. These big wedgewood-blue clip earrings measure 1 3/4" across. They are formed in of leaves and flowers, with a pierced through pattern forming a wreath midway around the earrings. The molding is very crisp and precise. The backs show signs of hand-carving to remove mold marks. Excellent condition.
Featherlite was a material used in the 1950s to form very detailed jewelry. Often it is confused with celluloid. However, it is described as a Meerschaum-like clay material, which is why the molding would be so fine. Free Shipping/Insurance in the USA! DH250-07
