Vintage Sterling Musical Staff with Notes Brooch. This 2 1/4" wide brooch is exactly like the vintage sterling brooch by Lang Jewelry Company. The curvy musical staff is bracketed by tendrilling scrolls.
The notes are D, E, and A--the beginning notes of the patriotic song "Over There" by George Cohen. The song was prominently featured in the 1942 James Cagney movie "Yankee Doodle Dandy."
