1940s Goddess Kuan Yin Bracelet and Earrings Set. This 1940s goldtone bracelet and earrings set showcases black and gold reverse glass cameos of Kuan Yin (Kwan Yin) the Buddhist goddess of mercy. The 3/4" tall cameos are very detailed. She is shown on a lotus blossom and is meditating in full lotus position. Her hands are crossed, palms upwards, under her breasts. She wears the "heavenly eye" on her forehead.
The bracelet measures 7 1/4" long. The matching earrings measure 2 1/4" long. The cameos are wreathed in a meandering vegetal spray. There are imperfections seen in the black background of the earrings due to the manufacturing process. Wear to gilding on earrings and bracelet clasp.
